Large Venue & Small Venue Concerts
HP Concerts brings both small and large venue concerts to campus. Shows range from Girl Talk’s all out jam at the Rathskeller to N*E*R*D’s Homecoming Concert takeover. Other past performers include Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Talib Kweli, and the Roots…get pumped for even bigger artists this year!
About the Committee:
If you like concerts and want to learn how to put one together, than this is the committee for you. The committee does everything from choosing the acts, ordering the stage, sound and lighting, arranging for hotels and transportation for the artists, and marketing the show to our fellow students. If you want to be in the music industry or just enjoy going to concerts, than this is a great opportunity to learn the concert business from behind the scenes.
