Cinematic Arts Commission

CAC, Cinematic Arts Commission, brings free movies to campus! Every Wednesday at 8pm and 10pm the year’s best movies and some favorite classics are shown at Cosford Cinema and then the same films are shown Saturday at 10pm and Sunday at 8pm. CAC also has great sneak previews of new releases and special screening events, so be on the lookout!
About the Committee:
CAC is a group of students who, simply enough, love watching movies. We love it so much, we like to bring that entertainment to our fellow students right here on campus. We are made of a variety of majors from Film, to Biology, to Philosophy. We meet once a week in UC 211 on Wednesday at 6:30PM. Meetings are brief (only about 30 minutes) and as an attending member, you not only get to vote on what movies we show for the following semester, but you also get a guaranteed seat at all screenings without even standing in line. It is a very laid back, come when you can, enjoy yourself kind of a group that is a blast to be a part of. Oh yes, and almost forgot to mention, TONS of FREE film merchandise from T-shirts, to posters, to random promotional giveaways!
